"I have spent the last 2+ years in the haze of Charles’ cancer diagnosis, treatment, and trips to VCU and MD Anderson.  This legislative day marked the beginning of an opportunity for me to use my experience and my voice for good."

September's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Picture
In 2021, ASK launched #gogoldva, a statewide initiative to raise awareness by lighting up 337 homes and businesses in Virginia to represent every child diagnosed with cancer each year across the state.
In total, over 500 advocates came together to go gold in September – and the #gogoldva community even brought the shine to Virginia's Executive Mansion! Learn how you can join us in going gold again this September below.
