STORIES OF MAKING LIFE BETTER FOR KIDS WITH CANCER
All the prosperity our kids deserve
Mark Fillgrove, Branch Manager of the RIchmond/Charlottesville region for Prosperity Home Mortgage, is making loan paperwork a little less daunting. Since learning about ASK during Richmond Homearama, Mark thought of a way to giveback. For each customer completing a new home mortgage application, Prosperity will donate $200.
"Most everyone has been affected by cancer, either directly or indirectly. For me, it was my mother who was diagnosed when I was just 12 years old," shared Mark. "When we learned that there was a local organization that supports children and their families through these events, we were compelled to join."
Mark started the program in June and is going till December. To date, $8,000 was been donated to help make life more livable for children during treatment and transition to survivorship.
"We all have the ability assist in some way. By the way, I just celebrated my mothers 70th birthday this year! She won her battle," said Mark.
Thank you, Mark, for your kindness in lifting the spirits of patients and their families!
