YACS Retreat - Spring 2023
We invite our young adult cancer survivors, high school graduate-age and older, to join us for an overnight getaway with your YACS friends! Friday, April 21 at 6 p.m. - Saturday, April 22 at 3 p.m. Roslyn Retreat Center 8727 River Rd Richmond, VA 23229 In addition to hanging out with your YACS friends, we will enjoy the beautiful Retreat Center grounds, eat delicious food, have fun playing casino games, relax with chair massages, talk about how we're doing, make crafts, and have a great time. Day at the Zoo
ASK parents, kids, and siblings are invited to join us for a day of fun with our animal friends! Saturday, April 22, 2023 10 a.m. - noon* check-in 5 p.m. zoo closes Metro Richmond Zoo *There is a community event being held at Grange Hall Elementary School near the entrance to the zoo starting at 11 a.m. We encourage our ASK families to arrive at the zoo closer to the 10 a.m. start to avoid their traffic. ASK kids and families: wear your ASK t-shirts so you can identify each other while you're wandering around the zoo! All families will receive a voucher that can be used to purchase snacks and drinks at the Zoo shops. ASK will provide light refreshments at the picnic pavilion from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. |

Calling our Richmond-area ASK kids for a week of fun, summer camp-style! Guests will visit and have cool things to do, including visits from our friends at the Metro Richmond Zoo, JumpStarz, a cooking class, painting, and music lessons. In addition to all of that, we’ll hang out, play games, and get to know our ASK “family” better.
Choose one of three weeks: June 26 - 30 July 17 - 21 July 31 - August 4 Camp is from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. ASK Family Center Camp is open to our rising 1st – 12th grade ASK kids and their siblings. Rising 7th - 12th graders will be our "junior counselors," and can receive volunteer hours for their service if they wish.
