The Great Room is exactly that. A GREAT ROOM! We’re leveling up by designing a space just for our kids that will meet a variety of our programming offerings, from dance parties to visiting zoo animals to painting and glittering. This is a space intended with the kids at heart. Generously sponsored by Doug & Sharon Keefer.

At the heart of the design is putting the kids first! It’s important for the new space to feel homelike, and what better way than with a fun, colorful hallway with plenty of room and accessibility.

The Gathering Space is where our kids start their day at summer camp sitting around the table for morning discussion. It's where lifelong friendships are formed. It’s also where our teens and young adults receive training and workshops to support their next step in life. The Kitchen is where our kids will gather when taking a break from after school homework help or during summer camp. The space includes a counter for them to hang out and battle in Uno or Connect Four. Generously sponsored by M4K Richmond.

We know you’re looking at those delicious pizzas on the counter – but keep looking and you’ll see natural light, openness and room to spread out. New kid-tough furniture and floors will be ready to tackle whatever the day brings, from robot battles to sitting cross-legged sing-alongs.
